Mallard Creek beat North Mecklenburg 7-4. Mikal Hill had 3 hits two runs scored and 3 stolen bases, Brandon Wilkerson scored two runs and hit a homerun and PJ Smith had two hits. Mikal Boles pitched a great game to get the win giving up 1 earn run.

 

South Meck 5 Independence 4

South Meck was able to hold off a very scrappy Patriots team tonight at Independence Field.

Cody Starnes (Wingate) of the Patriots lead his team with three (3) hits.

South Meck was lead by Deuce Wright (Spartanburg Methodist) who had three (3) hits while hitting a long HR early in the game.

Trevor Hovis (Francois Marion), Harrison Hood (Francois Marion) & Will Yokely each had two (2) hits for the Sabres.

Caleb Cunningham pitched six strong innings to earn the win.

Michael Atz (USC Sumter) entered the game with the tying run at first base and earned the save while striking out the side to close out the game.
