    well...

11-1 in 6 innings seems to be the score of the day.

    Ragsdale 11
    S. Alamance 1 6 innings

not alot of details. Brandon Phelps got the start and win for Ragsdale. Ragsdale goes to 9-0 on the season with a huge game Friday night at arch rival and 5th ranked Eastern Randolph. ER's power against Ragsdale's pitching. Should be a great game.

    Box Score

    S Alamance.. 000 100 - 1 3 3
    Ragsdale ..... 104 321 -11 15 0
    W: Brandon Phelps (2-0) L: John Crawford
    Leaders: S Alamance - Thomas Sappelt 1-2, 2B, RBI. Ragsdale - Trevor Mullins - 3-3, 2 RBIs, Nathan Cash - 3-4, 2Rs, Ben Vestal - 2-2, 4Rs, Brent O'Berry - 1-3, 3 RBIs.

    Hibriten 3 Fred T Foard 2

Hibriten jumped on the Tigers early (couple of hits, walks and an error) and never let up. The Panthers' pitcher (Jenson?) held Foard to 5 hits while Hibriten tallied 4 hits. Aaron King pitched well enough to win for the Tigers, but the bats were cold. This tightens up the CVAC with Hibriten, Foard, and St. Stephens with only one loss.

Fred T Foard (6-2 3-1) travels to West Caldwell on Thursday afternoon.

    South Granville vs Orange

    South Granville 7
    Orange 6

Pratt Maynard got the start for SG and left with 1 out in the fifth. His pitch count got high and he was having trouble finding the zone. Neither team played great defense with Orange having 4 errors and SG 3. Kernodle came in the top of the seventh with the score tied 6-6 and was the hard luck looser when a throwing error led to the go ahead run for SG. Robbins got the win for SG. I did not get the names for Oranges leading hitters I think they had 7 hits on the night. SG had six hits. Jeff May was 4-4 with a grand slam and a solo shot as well for 5 rbis. He also singled in the 7th and scored the winning run on an attempted pick off at third. Keith Goodwin was 1-4 and Pratt Maynard was 1-3 with a dbl.
