    Anson County vs East Montgomery

    Anson 8
    East Montgomery 1

Errors once again costs East another win..........too many to count without the scorebook.....too many for a team of Seniors with one freshman and one sophmore on it.

Due to this being a non-conference game it seemed East was saving their pitchers arms for conference work later in the week.

Sophmore Wil Lambert started pitching for East and had three strikeouts in 3 innings of work. Gave up 1 hit.3 unearned runs scored.

Senior Goose Kennedy came in to work for the final 3 innings, Anson had his number in his first two innings, and the defense behind him didn't help at all.

    Better luck tommorrow

    Olympic over Berry

Olympic over Berry in five innings. The exciting part of this game is that Brandon Hill pitched all five innings for Olympic. It was so good to see Brandon back on the mound again for a complete game start.
He struck out 9 and allowed no walks. It was almost as if the "old " Brandon was back!! To top it all off....his family was in attendance to see this major accomplishment.

From all of us, we say.....welcome back, Brandon!! We missed you!!

    South Meck 3 Butler 10

South looked a little shakey in the field. Butler got a lot of unearned runs in either the 2nd or the 3rd. I left the game in the 4th when it was 9-2.

    PHS Waffles Waddell

Waddell put up a valiant fight but was just no match for the Panthers. David Mailman and Kyle Kaiser combined for the No-Hit, Shutout. PHS Highlights included Erik Summerville's two doubles and Andrew Huffstetler's Monstrous Home Run to Dead Center.

A great match-up that saw both teams threatening in almost every inning. Some nice defensive plays by the Trojan defense, a long home run off the bat of Jerrod Faggart, and a great relief outing by Justin Wallace kept this thing close. (Connor Bean's bat also remained hot). A nice pick-off play at 3rd by Ryan Brown ended this one.

    WP - Jason Auten
LP - Wallace (an undeserved loss)

Props to CC's 3B Jeff Sanderson (the kid is a bonafide pure hitter)

    NWest Cabarrus 010 001 0 2
    Central Cabarrus 002 001 x 3

The (5-1) Trojans will once again attempt to play thier first conference game tomorrow at home against East Rowan (again if the weather allows).
