    Piedmont 6 Parkwood 5

Piedmont (9-0) (4-0) battled to a ran shortened 5 inning win. Bryan Parker (2-0) for Piedmont had a perfect game for 3 2/3 and a one hitter for 4 2/3 and the rains and the errors came down. Piedmont was ahead 6-0 going into the bottom of the fifth and gave up several rain related errors that allowed two runs to score then, Parkwood (sorry, don't know who) hit a 3 run HR to make it 6-5. Parker got the last out and the umpires called the game. Parker still has not given up an earned run this year.

Jeff Logan had a 3 run HR for Piedmont and Scott Estes was 2-3 with 2 RBI's.

Piedmont hosts Charlotte Christian in a huge non-conference game. Game is @ 4:30. (If they can find the field under all the water)

I have'nt done the totals yet but Mooresville showed alot of rust after an 11 day lay-off due to weather from last week.......I had better stop it at that.

I could use a stiff whiskey.

    Indy over Harding

Indy hit the ball very well tonight and Wes Elkins pitched very well also.

I can't wait until Thursday when North and Indy face off at Indy. This should be a great game with Zach Rosembaum pitching against Robby Bray. Both teams are undefeated in conference play.

I bet that will be a good game with North and Indy, but I don't think it'll even be close. Indy played an easy game against Harding and North played a somewhat tougher game against West Meck. I think North is going to run straight through Indy, but I may be wrong. good luck to both teams, it should be a good one.

    Suspended

They will pick up where they left off when Mooresville visits Lake Norman on 4/22, before the regularly scheduled game between the two teams on that day.
