What's up...hope everyone is recovering from the major winter storm that hit the region...there were numerous games in the mountains and I-40 cooridor that were called off on friday. If you wanna post any updated info please do so in this thread...

I was just informed that North Buncombe and McDowell will be playing on Tuesday...jv's will be a 2 pm start. Also I'm hearing word of the South Caldwell/McDowell game being possibly played on Wednesday in details can be worked out...

Monday 1 pm Update: Due to the continued slick secondary roads, North Buncombe vs McDowell will be played on Wednesday with a 2 pm start for jayvees.

McDowell's contest with South Caldwell will now be made up at some point after the holidays...

If there are any other changes in the schedules across the region, feel free to post them here.

I'll give credit to the Lady Blackhawks...they're a solid team. Gentry can shoot the ball along with a couple others. Their strong start isn't solely based on the prior teams they have played.

I don't get how the asheville citizen-times ignored this game BigDan. They ran a feature story on the Black Hawks earlier this week but didn't even post the score of the McDowell game in the paper today. I thought McDowell would get some coverage from the ACT this year but I guess I was wrong.
