    TCR's Justin Wynn did have 16 yards on 16 carries for the night and TCR was held to 69 yards rushing (17 thru 3 quarters).

    McDowell had 8 turnovers tonight. Kincaid rushed for 240 yards and 3 scores, but had a huge turnover on the 1 yard line. That would have put the Titans up 34-14. After that fumble it was all RS Central.

    Make that 8 turnovers and 2 bad snaps on punts. I know that RS is better than in recent years, but to be honest, all they did tonight was stand around and wait for McDowell to turn the ball over. They sustained 1 drive all night, and that was about half way through the 1st quarter. McDowell D was on the field WAY too long tonight, and they still made RS fight for everything they got. Credit to RS for making McDowell pay for the TO's, that is what the difference is between winning and losing sometimes, and it was most definately was tonight. Thing that ticks me is that the score should have been 49-7 McDowell at the minimum. But it wasn't. Shoulda, woulda, coulda, yada, yada, yada.......:imagestor

    achs moves to 3-0 with a 14-7 win over mooresville. great defence by the cougars and blue devils. #52 is a monster for mhs. scarey moment about 1.30 into the 3rd qtr. a blue devil coach went down. from where i was ,it looked like the other coaches were giving him cpr. the emts got him back on his feet and i think he remained on the side line. then the amb. got stuck on the side of the field and it looked like the entire mhs team was going to have to push it off. i hope the coach that went down is ok!!!! the crowd was a little off for mooresville.
