    Northwest 16 Hickory Ridge 1

The bats came alive for NW, finally giving some support to starting pitcher Rob Bain who had another excellent outing. Taylor West hits his first HR of the season and Corey Seager hits his third HR. Northwest travels to Hickory Ridge Thursday for the rematch.

Not a bad effort tonight. We had good pitching and solid defense. Our bats came out on fire as we scored 6 runs in the first 2 innings. Then we went quiet at the plate. We will go at it again tomorrow and see if we can't get the bats back rolling.

RR is now 6-5 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
