    Fred T Foard 1 St. Stephens 0

Big win for Foard to keep them atop the CVAC. :woohoo: Aaron King's walk off HR to lead off the bottom of the 7th provided the only run of the game.

St. Stephen's Patrick Johnson went 6 innings and only gave up one hit with tons of strike outs. He left after 6 innings due to pitch count. His performance, however, was overshadowed by the Tiger's Trent Rothlin. He went the distance only allowing 2 hits - not sure of how many K's. Both pitchers were throwing in the low 90's. This was an extremely well pitched game!

    Randleman 11
    Ragsdale 5

I haven't heard any details but not sure I want to. Ragsdale loses their first of the season and actually falls into a second place tie with Asheboro at 4-1 - who happens to be Ragsdale's next opponent.

Randleman has really impressed moving up to 3-A. Surprised to see Ragsdale give up 11 runs considering they only gave up 14 in their first 12 games.

    other scores from Mid Piedmont

    Asheboro 3
    E Randolph 1

    SW Randolph 14
    SE Guilford 12

    Bunker Hill/Hickory

    Bunker Hill- 0
    Hickory- 10 (5 innings)

Tonight was Hickory's third game this week and it also was the third time they won by the score of 10-0 in 5 innings this week. Austin Johnson got the win for the Tornadoes who are currently in second place in the CVAC behind Fred T. Foard.

RED BEAR- HOW MANY HOMERUNS DOES AARON KING HAVE THIS YEAR? IT SURE SEEMS LIKE A LOT...SOUNDS LIKE IT WAS AN EXCITING GAME TONIGHT...
