    Middle Creek - 5
    Cary - 4

Middle Creek capitalized on each Cary mistake and it proved to be the difference. Kid for MC hit a 3-run bomb following a crucial error by Cary's shortstop about midway through the game. Cary's starter pitched good enough to win but it didn't go his way. MC threw 4 different P's who got the job done.

Cary rallied late but a fly ball to the warning track ended it. Heartbreaking loss for the home team because of the errors. Middle Creek's catcher was a stud.

I know Cary is @ Green Hope tomorrow night

    Wilson Hunt vs. Southern Wayne

    Hunt 8
    So. Wayne 0
Hunt swings the bats well in their 8-0 defeat of So. Wayne. Sr. Jake Strickland belts another blast for his 7th HR and 16th rbi of the year. Zach Houchins, Cody Britt, Kyle Pittman, and Jerome Richardson also collect run scoring hits. Zach Lee pitches well for the Warriors and gets the win. Ches Lamm and Austin Ethridge in relief. Limit So. Wayne to one hit. Cody Britt with several put outs and a nice catch in shallow right field.

Warriors face Beddingfield Tues. at 7 at Warrior Field and Kinston on Fri. at 7.

    Warriors 3-1 conf. 6-3 overall.
