The Piedmont boys should have stayed at the beach.

If you don't pick up a baseball for a week, then can't get a practice in, then play a great team this is what happens. Wasn't at the game but heard that W/R was totally dominate.

    Maiden: 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 -- 1 3 1

    Winning pitcher: Josh Miller (7 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 H, 8 Ks, 1 BB)

Leading hitters: Hendersonville -- Spencer Mooney 1-for-2, Nathan Stines 1-for-2, Brett Kasischke 1-for-3, two RBIs.

Highlights: This was a Southern Foothills Conference game that got off to a scary start. Doctors said Smith, who had to have four stitches, sustained a fractured nose. The Bearcats, playing without their coach, ended up scoring three runs in the final two innings to put the game away.
