As a Watauga fan it was good to see the girls come out so hard in the first quarter - the big difference I feel was the knee injury of Rebekah Pineda (her twin sister Emily just got back from an ACL surgery - hope its not the same) in the first quarter - she has been the go to person averaging a double double her last few games. Pioneers had it down to 9 with 6 minutes left and ran out of gas. Fouls down the stretch made it look worse then it was. This is a very young team.

Kudos to the SC ladies who wished Rebekah good luck after the game - with Barrett they now what knee injuries are all about

AC Reynolds swept both boys and girls from East Burke. I was not able to attend do to family emergency. So I have no score or details, all I know is that ACR won boys and girls games.

Both East Burke and AC Reynolds looked pretty scrappy. The game took forever because both teams were making sub changes often. AC Reynolds did not look as good as expected. The game was 21-20 at Half. Also one of the AC Players was taking out of the game due to a injury of her finger. (#42 or # 44)

It was #42 (Worley) she injured her finger on her non-shooting hand. Not sure how bad, but I did happen to see her in the emergency room tonight while I was there, man was that a suprise! Her family said she was going to be okay.

Not much to say tonight about the game...Mike played his entire bench by halftime running some different groups of five during the 2nd half. Kelsea, Kurie, Ebonique, Lea and Jessica all scored in double figures. I beleive the highest of those was Kelsea with 13 points.

Lady Titans have won three straight, tough week coming up right before the Holiday break with games at East Rutherford and Roberson.
