    South Caldwell wins over Watagua tonight by about 15. not sure of the final score. SC has one of the best teams the have had in a long time. They should do very well this year

    I think South Caldwell/Watauga was the only NW4A game tonight due to weather. Anyone have makeup information on East Burke/AC Reynolds or McDowell/Alexander Central?

    East Burke-Reynolds is being played tonight in Fairview, according to 13 WLOS. Alexander Central-McDowell will be played tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. start (JV girls, JV Boys-3:30, Varsity Girls-5:00, Varsity Boys-6:30)

    AC Reynolds boys beat East Burke tonight. Don't know the score as I wasn't there (family emergency), but I was told it was by 2 or 4.

    McDowell boys recover from their loss to East Rutherford with a nine point win against Alex. Central, I believe the score was 68-59. Brian Greene scored 33 points tonight and Chris Twitty scored 11 points for the Titans. To be honest, I was impressed with Alex. Central, this could be one of their better squads this year in the conference. Maurice Carter down low, along with #22 down low, which I was told tonight is only a freshmen. Both guys played good, only problem was that Carter got in foul trouble which meant that freshmen had to cover Greene, which I don't think anybody in this conference is going to stop this season. Matt Evans is going to be out for a couple more games for the Titans. The abense of Evans really shows on the court at times. Evan's brings a sense of energy that nobody else on the team brings.

    Alexander played zone against us tonight...and I think other teams will follow suit as the season progresses because the Titan's offense seems to bog down when having to attack the zone.
