    Breitenstein adds 3 TDs, giving him a state-leading total of 16. Watauga is 5-0.

    The Pioneers host South Caldwell next week in a game that NEEDS to be selected for TBR picks. If the Spartans win tonight it will be a matchup of 5-0 teams. Great turnaround for two programs that struggled to win 5 games all year just a few years ago. Actually, it wasn't that long ago when they might not have 5 wins between them at the end of the year.

    what a come from behind win for achs!!!! down 14-0 ,with a little over 7 min. to go the cougars score 16 to shock west montgomery! ac scored and made the 2 pt con. to make it 14-8. def holds and forces a punt. 1st play with 1.30 to go cougars hit a 74 yd bomb and tie it up.west mot. takes over at the 20 , ac def. forces them back in a passing sit. and the qb gets sacked in the end zone and the cougars are 4-0! also heard that north iredell beat south iredell.

    tough game for the Tigers. Grimsley dominated both lines of scrimmage. Ragsdale shot themselves in the foot with two fumbles in the first half to make it worse.

    Grimsley led 21-3 at halftime and scored on a long drive to open the second half for a 27-3 lead. They scored again early in the fourth - Ragsdale finally put together a nice drive taking up most of the fourth quarter clock - Tyler Rankin scored on a one yard run for the 33-9 final.

    Rankin had most of the Ragsdale yardage tonight which wasn't much

    I swear Grimsley converted EVERY third down - 3rd and 4 they get 6. 3rd and 8 they get 11. 3rd and 14 they get 17. It looked too easy.

    Grimsley may not win the state this year but I don't see anybody on their schedule beating them in the regular season.

    Conference play for Ragsdale startsnext week at SE Guilford.
