    Weddington over Sun Valley

    Weddington 4
    Sun Valley 3

Pretty good pitchers dual early in the game with Jordan Newsome getting the win for Weddington. Some sloppy defensive play in the 4th and 5th innings from both teams.

Alex Morales stays hot with a triple down the right field line. Chase Prillaman get his first ever high school HR to put Weddington up 4-3 in the 6th. Newsome fights through the bottom of the 7th with a K of one of SV top hitters with a man on third and 2 outs.

Fun game to watch, even better if you remove some of the errors in the middle of the game. Both pitchers competed.

    MP JV - Scouts??

Sounds like the scouts that are showing up to watch some of MP's varsity guys need to show up about 2 hours earlier to catch these JV kids. Potential early committs??

I hope they dont have intrasquad scrimmages during practices at MP...my money's on the JV's.....

Carson had to make up a conference game today so the game with Hickory Ridge will be played sometime later.
