    Concord vs Anson

    Concord 3
    Anson 2

Chad Dempsey did awesome on the mound tonight for the Spiders. Hunter Wyke came up with a much needed double off the wall for the Spiders in the 5th Inning to make it 3-1. Anson almost came back in the top of the 7th but Hunter Wyke shut them down with an awesome defensive play.

The Spiders play Porter Ridge at Home Friday @ 7:00pm

CHS is now at the top of The SPC Conference with a 5-1 record.

    SC beats Alexander

South Caldwell came back from a 3-0 deficit tonight to overtake Alexander Central 5-4. With the bases loaded in the fourth, Bumgarner hits a grand slam to put the Spartans up 4-3. Starting pitcher Gragg is replaced by Messer in the 7th. A.C. loads the bases and Bumgarner comes in w/ one out to get the K and runner on third gets in a pickle and is called out. With the score 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th, Bumgarner lifts off for his second HR of the night to win the game!!!
