You guys shouldn't really have a problem with Southern or Eastern. Southern's ace is pretty good but after that I don't think they have too much.

yeah Ragsdale shut out Eastern last week 7-0. Northeast is usally pretty strong but I think they are having a down year for them. Can't wait to get back to conference play though. It will be a dogfight to the finish with Randleman.

    Myers Park 8 Providence 7

This was a very exciting game at Myers Park tonight. Both teams made each other pay for their defensive mistakes and scored whenever their was an opportunity. The lead changed hands 3 or 4 times. The game ended when a Providence runner (the potential tying run) was thrown out at home by junior RF Dean Boyle who was just put in the 7th inning as a defensive replacement. That was the play of the game!!!

    Myers Park highlights
    Pitching:
    WP: Tom Girdwood (3 - 1)
    SV: Jordan Cudney

    Hitting:
Jack Myers 3B (bases loaded in 6th inning), 4 RBI, 2R
    Scott Matthews 2-3, 2R
    Dennis Elliott 2-3, 3B, R

    Providence highlights
    Pitching:
    LP: Hendel

    Hitting:
    David Mailman 2-3, 2 HR (both solo), 2 RBI, 2 R
    Ryan Siminiek 4-4, 3R

David Mailman is the real deal!!! Believe it.

Sophomore SS Adam Hill also went 4-4 tonight. Other guys who hit well were Jared Bard, Chase Martin, and Kurt Fulginiti. The knights travel to Raleigh tom. to face NCISAA foe Cardinal Gibbons, pending all the rain thats suppose to wash NC out on sat.
