Close game with alot on the line for both teams -- with Indy coming out on top in this first meeting of the Titans and Patriots for the season. Robbie Bray pitched well, as expected, for Indy, and kept the Titan bats off key most of the game. As mentioned earlier, several Titan players had 1-for-3 hits, with Oliver, Waters and Cochran driving in the runs. Andy Oliver pitched well for Titans, but some of the Indy players managed to get some very key hits to generate the needed runs - Cooke, Bray, Starnes and Elkins. A long lists of "ifs" on the Titan side that could have resulted in a Titan win, so now they will just have to dig a little deeper when the Patriots come to visit in a few weeks.

    Washed out

Butler at Myers Park rained out. They'll try again tomorrow. If it gets rained out tomorrow, as it probably will, they'll try again Thursday.

That means the Myers Park at Ashbrook make-up game scheduled for tomorrow night has been postponed again -- probably to next Wednesday.
