    SC 15-0

South Caldwell beat Gastonia Ashbrook 4-1 this evening. SC looked a little sluggish and hopes to get back on top of its game tomorrow when conference play starts back up.......

RM's bats came alive tonight. They hit well throughout the line-up. The 7-9 batters were a combined 7 for 10 with 5 rbi. RM takes the top conference spot in the NEW 6 at the halfway point.

Great ball game between two well coached teams. Each team capitalized on miscues to put runners in scoring position. Both pitchers showed good breaking balls and spotted the fast ball well.

Most people dont realize these kids all grew up together, playing REC, AAU, Travel ball together. While they are warriors on the field, they are all friends; and have a great deal of respect for their teams.

    I can't wait for round 2!

    PRD,
RM is 5-0 in conference games, and 12-3 overall. Should be a very good tourney this year. My tourney favorite from the get-go has been Person. You all have been playing very well. We start 3 Srs., 4 sophs., and 2 fr. so we struggle at times, but can play well also. Look forward to seeing you Sat.
