North Henderson 5, West Henderson 1

    WH 0-0-0-0-0-0-1 1-4-3
    NH 2-0-2-1-0-0 5-8-1

    WP Kenneth Brandt (4-1)
    LP Matthew Pruitt (5-1)

    For NH:
    Seth Baldwin 2/2. HR, 2 rbi's
    Ethan Pressley 1/2, triple, rbi
    Trey Nicholson 1/3, rbi

    For WH:
    Jerry Brinkley 1/2, double, rbi

Both teams are now 4-1 in the WAC to probably set up a showdown at the end of the season for conference champ. Seth Baldwin for NH played an outstanding game. Made a tremendous catch in RF as well as a great job at the plate and in relief of Brandt. One bright note for WH was Pruitt was consistently 86-88 on the mound touching 89. Just a junior. Hats off to North Henderson, they were the better team tonite.

North State conference play has taken this week off. I think this week was going to be used for any make up games but luckily there haven't been any. However, West Stokes beat South Stokes 16-10 last night. This is the first year in a while that West has swept the cross-county series.

Im not sure on Northwest stats, so i wont post them.

*The Spiders have beat two Top 10 teams in the State. (Piedmont, Northwest).

The Spiders are ranked number 1 in the SPC conference. They travel to Mt. Pleasent on Thursday.
