    Northwest 8 Central Cabarrus 7

NW jumps out to a 5-0 lead only to have Central battle back and tie the score in the 7th at 6-6. Central plates one in top of the 8th but then allows NW to load the bases (2 intentional walks), scoring two runs to win in bottom of 8th. NW travels to Mallard Creek on Thursday for a non-conference match up.

    AK vs South

Wow Kell wins 3-2 in 10.

Lover win in relief for Kell
Cunningham tough luck loss for South.

    Cunningham HR for South.
Davies 2 or 3 hits for Kell
    Shelton 2 hits for Kell

Reinheimer and Ratledge made a couple game saving plays defensively. Cunningham and Hood stepped up big time and pitched out of some jams. Each team left a bunch of runners on, and both did it in extra innings.

Alex Baker relieved Butler and was lights out for 4 innings.

Hood threw great for South, and Butler did as well for AK.

Awesome job to everyone that helped put the field at South Back into shape. What a great place to watch a game.

    Great SW4A game.
