Aparicio pitched against us in the finals of the Bobby Murray Tournament. He has a loose, live arm and should develop into an outstanding pitcher if he works hard and does the right things.

Even though our Cavs lost the championship to TC Roberson 4-3, it was great baseball at a great spot, McNair Field. It's the coolest stadium around; wish we could play more there. Caleb King pitched strong; he only gave up five hits and it was only two Roberson hitters that really touched him up with a pair of hits each - Aaron Wright and Matt Fernandez, like they did in the rest of the tournament. Their pitcher, Alex Ledford, had it going, too. Only Dakotah Thomas, with his double late, got to him good.

Blaine is a sophmore catcher who last year played for Hickory Grove. Mikal has played with and against Blaine since their AAu days. He will be playing for the South Charlotte Panthers this summer. Blaine is one of the best catchers around and very athletic. The players and coaches from the 2011 class know who Blaine. Our secret weapon is out.
