    ANOTHER QUALITY CATCHER IS JONATHAN TAYLOR C.B.AYCOCK. HAS ONE OF THE STRONGEST ARMS IN 2011 CLASS AND VERY GOOD BLOCKER.

    Tough loss for Ragsdale. That win puts East in control of the conference now. Sounds like they hit the ball hard last night. With #1 and #2 pitchers having just pitched and #3 Sparks out I’m not sure who Ragsdale throws the next two nights. With both conference games (NW Guilford and Glenn) at home they really need to win them to keep pace with East. One game at a time though.

    East has a tough game with SW Guilford tonight. Can’t believe I’m saying this but go Cowboys!

    And oh yeah – Ben Fultz hit another HR last night for Ragsdale – that’s eight on the season now.

    Leesville beat Enloe 11-1 in a 5 inning Cap 7 conference game. Tony Stroud went 4 innings and did not allow a hit. Sean Ross pitched the 5th and allowed 1 run.

    lost friday night to farmville central 2-1 in 8 innings

    won tonight 10-0 over north pitt.

    12-4 overall, 6-2 conf.

    Mallard Creek 6 Lake Norman 9

    A back and fourth game all night. Lake Norman finally brought out their bats and ended there four game loosing skid.

    Senior lefty ace Scottie Williams got the win,pitched 6 innings allowing 5 runs. But he got better every inning and that was the key.
    Taylor Thurber came in and pitched the 7th allowing 1 earned run.


    Lake Norman Hitting:
    Tyler Lewis 3-4 1 rbi

    Ian Edminston 2-4 2 rbi
    Jesse Seaford 1-2 3rbi
    Drew Mcneil 2-2
    Brad Chamberlain and Joey McAlpin each added a hit

    Lake Norman will travel to West Iredell thursday then to Hopewell Friday!

    Patton lost 6-4 to east rutherford. left 14 men on base and 10 runners in scoring position. Tough loss but we will bounce back.

    HR: RR had 4 HRs on the night. Tyler Floyd hit 2 while Josh Stallings and Abel Hernandez both hit 1 each.

    RR improves to 9-9 overall on the season.
