    Ragsdale 7
    Union Pines 0
    WP Trevor Mullins 6-0
    LP B Collins

Mullins went 5 innings giving up 4 hits and striking out 7. He never looked in sync or over powering tonight but he pitched a good game. Jake Kensmoe gave up a hit, struck out 2 in 2 innings of relief.

Ragsdale put up 4 runs in the first. 2 in the 4th and Chad Baker stroked a nice homer to center field for the last run in the sixth. The Union Pines pitcher didn't do too bad. Had the Tigers popping up all night.

14 in a row for ragsdale and they are 16-2 now 9-1 in conference.

Rematch with Southwest Guilford Monday night. Ragsdale wants to avenge one of their earlier losses this season. Should be a good game.

    East Meck -vs- Providence

    East Meck- 2 (8 innings)
    Providence- 1

Beautifully pitched game by both pitchers Ben Buchanan (East) and Joey Cutler (Prov). Providence was up 1-0 in the 5th I believe when Taylor Bryant for East hit a solo HR. A great defensive effort from both sides. East got a runner on third in the 7th and Ben Buchanan blooped a ball into short left field when Corey Dunning made a beautiful play laying out to catch the ball to send it in to extra innings. In the bottom of the 8th Matt McNichol (if thats how u spell his last name) lined a double down the left field line. He advanced on a past ball and eventually scored on a past ball. A Great rivalry between these 2 teams and a great effort out of both. East Meck is now 6-4 in Conference play while Providence is 9-2? Someone correct me if i'm wrong on that!
