    The young man pitched a very good game- looked like a young Greg Maddox. Moved the ball in and out, up and down and changed speeds. Threw his change and curve for strikes at will. FC led off the game with two fairly well hit balls that were caught by the outfield and I do not recall anything else hit hard all night. To not overpower FC with a fastball, he was as in control as I have seen a kid in a long time.

    Congrats on a fine performance.

    Mavs improve to 15-1 overall (12-0 conf.). Next game should be a good one @ Charlotte Christian tomorrow 7:00pm.

    Likely starters are Luke Bard for CC and Matt Walser for Marvin Ridge.

    Baine Martin, Cal Hardee, and Adam Church hit back to back to back home runs to take a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the 4th inning and kept hitting from there. Freshman David Martin also homered and now has 4 on the season. Watauga improves to 14-5 (9-1) and AC falls to 10-6 (4-6).

    In an excellent game at Person, Jordan rallied to win 4-3. This would have been an excellent game to watch as both teams played hard in this game.

    Mt Tabor vs North Davidson

    Mt Tabor 2-N.Davidson 1...Mat Batts allows 3hits for win, with Garret Hickman getting the save..Tabor is 10-5 overall & 5-1 in conference..Big game Friday night at West Forsyth....Parker Thomas will be on the mound for Mt Tabor..It should be a great game if last Friday nights game between the two for the Forsyth County Championship which Tabor won, but West won the earlier conference game at Tabor.

    Southern got 2 hits from Eddie Sappelt and 3 hits from Brandon Crawford to lead the way. Rob Pearce moved to 5-0 on the season. Charles Harris picks up the save.

    Led by Nick Chapman and Reggie Washington for each had 4 hits

    Reggie Also hit 2 grand slams in the game.Does anyone ever recall this ever happening

    Aaron Attaway and Trevor Tallent also went deep for the Panthers.
