    Lake Norman 5 Statesville 2

    Lake norman played through the motions threw 6 innings and being down 2-1 before taking off in the 7th and scoring 4 runs.

    Lefty Tyler Lewis(2010) threw 4 innings of 4 hit 2 run baseball 1 earned. before being relieved by Ross Whitley(2009 Catawba) who threw the final 3 innings allowing 1 hit and no runs.

    Casey Liles(2010) pitched 6 1/3 solid innings allowing 1 run... before being banged around for 4 more runs for statesville.

    timely hitting by lake norman made the difference....

    Lake norman plays at West rowan tomorrow at 7 pm

    Lake norman is now 14-1 (11-0)

    South Granville vs. Williams

    SG takes two from the Bulldogs, 6-4 on Tue. at BW, and then 8-4 at SG on Wed. Tyler Hunter got the win Tue., with Josh Darroch picking up the save. Clarence Peace homered and Chris Riley had three hits.
    On Wed., Will Bullock notched the win with 4 IP and 1 H, 0 R.
    SG now 13-5, 4-3.

    Tyler Joyner with a commanding performance for NN allowing only 2 hits and striking out 12 in a complete game. NN had 4 hits including two doubles by SS Wesley Joyner. Wesley also scored a run, and drove in a run. Hobbs Johnson pitched well for RM despite the loss. RM and NN are now tied for the NEW 6 lead at 5-1. NN plays a critical double header at home vs. Wilson Fike on Tuesday. Fike is sitting at 4-1 in conference play.

    Tarboro defeated GC 8-5 and lost to NL 4-2, so Tarboro is 4-1 in the conference (13-4) as well. They have Goldsboro tonight with NL & GC next week. So its will all pan out next week. The EPC will be a fight to the end- NP and FC will have something to say about who wins it!!
