Northwood gefeats NCSSM in a run rule shortened game. Kyle Hackney and Matt Wade went yard for the Chargers and Austin Brice chipped in a ground rule double.

    Ragsdale 12
    Asheboro 0 five innings

Nick McBride got his seventh win against no losses giving up two hits tonight. McBride and Mike Whited both hit home runs tonight. Not a lot of other details.

Ragsdale is now 18-2 and 9-1 in conference. I believe that puts them three up with two to play so that should clinch the conference. I think Asheboro, SE Guilford and Randleman are back in a deadlock for second.

Darroch singled in the first run of the game in the 3rd, followed by Clarence Peace's 3-run HR. Trey Talley had an RBI double for Webb in teh 6th and Ty Breedlove's single drove in a run in the 7th.

    South Granville's 10th win a row brings the record to 14-5, 5-3.
Webb now one game ahead of SG with two conference losses, everyone chasing undefeated Southern Alamance at the top of the standings.

Big games next week between SG and SA as well as Webb vs. SA.

    Bandys at Maiden

    Bandys 1
    Maiden 12 5 innings

On Senior Night at Maiden with the lightning flashing in the centerfield background, the Blue Devils(10-6) came away with the win just in time. John Markley pitched another great game giving up just one run on two hits. The Trojans used 3 different pitchers as walks and errors were just to much to overcome.

    Maiden:
    Jacob Lineberger 2-3; 2 1b
    Justin Sizemore 1-2; 1b, 3 rs
    John Markley 1-2; 2b

    Bandys:
    Logan Rowe 2-2; 2 1b
