    Northwood drops "must win" game to Orange 5-4.

    About the best the Chargers can do is 4th in the conference. Orange and Graham will be one or two and Cardinal Gibbons will most likely finish third based on their sweep of Northwood.

    The Chargers will have to regroup and get ready for a run in the playoffs... the hard way, on the road.

    Tarboro just cant seem to beat the big green bully (North Lenoir)

    Terrible game for tarboro defensively and pitching.
    They may be a reason for that :mdrbig:

    Gave up the Granny late to bust it open.

    Tarboro, NL both have 2 conference loses. NL to Green Central and Farmville, Tarboro- 2x to NL. GC has one loss to Tarboro and they play tomorrow night @ GC. Should be fun.

    Southern got HR's from Jeremy Vaughn and Tyler Wilson. Jason Groce struck out 9 in 5 innings. Rob Pearce pitched 2 innings in releif.

    Southern has won the Midstate 3A Conference.

    Southern moves to 17-4 and 9-0.

    Senior night is Friday vs. Burlington Williams.
