    Scotland - 4
    Richmond - 0

Coach Britt's son tosses two-hitter...and he's just a freshman. Scotland had two homers - one a two run shot in the second, the other a solo shot in the fourth that I'm pretty sure is still circling the earth. We fall to 13-8 (7-5).

    South Granville vs. N. Vance

South Granville 13-12 over a feisty Northern Vance team. Home runs by Clarence Peace and A.J. Ragland, plus 3 hits from Cory Hicks made the difference as Northern Vance plated 5 in the top of the 7th to close to within one run before pitcher Chris Riley got the last out.

SG closes the regular season 15-6, 6-4.
    Conference tourney next week.

    Person 5, Northern Durham 3

Northern Durham's Danny Willis kept Person off balance until the 5th inning when Person scored 4 runs to rally from a 2-0 deficit. Bryan Bass (ECU) led off the bottom of the 1st with a solo HR and went 2-3 on the night to lead Northern Durham's hitting. Clint Holt sparked the Rockets with a 1 out solo HR to start the scoring. This was a hard nosed gritty ball game. Stephen Wright (SR/RHP) went 6.1 innings to earn the win and Dylan Dickens pitched the final 2 outs to earn his second Save of the season.

    Southern 5

Williams did a great job tonight in getting a win over the Patriots. The are a tough well coached group that beat an uninspired group on the Southern side. The Patriots lose on Senior Night. Possible rematch on Tuesday in the semifinals of the conference tournamnet.

Southern is now 17-5 and 9-1.

    Riverside vs Jordan

    Riverside 11
    Jordan. 8

Riverside wins a wild one on senior night, as 3 seniors homer for the Pirates. (Burgess, Kallianos, Seelinger). Seelinger gets the win as he comes in relief in the 4th. This game had a great playoff atmosphere: stands were packed, both teams were amped up, and they exchanged blows like a heavy weight fight.

RHS moves to 15-2, and 11-0 in conference. Next game is Tuesday at Northern at 7pm.

A well played game with very few, if any errors. Alex Askey came on in the fifth and pitched scoreless ball for the win. Robert Balsley got 2 outs in the seventh, striking out 10, before giving way to Chris Overman, who took the loss. Shaffer, Clayton, Austin and Dunn had multiple hit games for Providence. Andy Wilson 3-3 for Myers Park.
