Amerto threw a 95 yard touchdown pass to Izzy Swepson on a third down play with about three or so minutes to go. Basically Roberson was in prevent defense. Izzy ran past the entire secondary and caught a beautiful pass by Amerto in stride.

Going into tonight's game there was the common knowledge that Swepson and Amerto were going to share reps for a while. I think Amerto put that to rest. Infact I like the idea of Swepson and Jordan Dalton out wide. When was the last time we had two wide-outs that could catch the ball? Gordon Ingram? (1997) Mitch Davis? (1999) It's been that long since McDowell has had a legit receiving threat. We may have two in one year. Also the tight end Carver (#8) made a nice catch. If tonight is any indication, we will have more than one dimension on offense. What a legit passing theat also does is open things up for Buggy. Just my gut feeling but I don't know if we could put him through the rigors that the team put Davon through last year.

BTW, how about that sweet stutter-step Buggy put on the Roberson corner when heading to the end zone during the first half? If not for the penalty to kill that play we're talking a one possession game.
