    Mt.Pleasant-8 over West Rowan-5

    South Rowan-2 over Kannapolis-1

I'm thinking Mt.Pleasant should be the class of the SPC (Cabarrus County conference),,, in fact I believe I told Countryboy this the very day after they hired Bryan Tyson away from Central Cabarrus.

    aycock 13 princeton 1

aycock looked good in their oprener. defense looked good no errors. Farmer 2-4, ruffin 2-4, hollowell 2-3. Eric Dubose pithced 4 shut out innings. His curve ball looked good, like his sophmore year. The pitching we faced was young and about 75 mph. They had troubles spoting the ball and throwing strikes. We play hunt and triple s the next two games so this will see how are hitting is. It was cold and windy tough to hit in these conditions.

played a great at short. Hit the ball hard only 1 hit. Let him get warmed up. it's not what you do now, it's what happens later in the season.

    West Forsyth 12 Parkland 1 5 innings

West came out early in the cold weather and threw its 2nd consecutive combined no-hitter. Ryan Mayhew (UNCW) and Trey Vestal combined for the no-hitter. Jonathan Holt led the way with 2-3 with 4 rbi's. Multiple hits also by Hunter Dull, JT Tuttle, and many others. Parkland struggled with control near the end and walked a few Titans. Many talented players on both side.

    Ragsdale 3
    Southern Lee 2

Fultz 2-3 HR, Anderson 2-3, Stone 1-2 walk, Sparks 1-2 walk, Whited 1-3
Stone goes 4 innings, Hodges, Sparks, and Anderson pitch 1 a piece.

Southern Lee played well, disciplined, and had good pitching. Well prepared, well coached.
