    South Piedmont scores

    Concord 2
    Porter Ridge 1

Well played game, Porter Ridge could not get the bats going...Sr. Dylan Stewart 2-3, 1 2b and 1bb, Sr. Markell Deese 1 2b, Jr. Michael Bell 1 hit and the lone RBI for PR. Concord hit the ball pretty well...Center fielder do not have his name, had 2 2b's.

    Piedmont 3

Did not see game, but heard about it from one of Piedmont's seniors.

    Hopewell vs. Ragsdale

    Hopewell 14 - Ragsdale 10

Long ball game for both teams, however it ended up being a good road trip for the Titans. Pitchers for both teams struggled throughout the game with walks. (Hopewell walked the leadoff batter for the first 5 innings.) Hard for the players to zero in on the strikezone, both as batters and as pitchers, but was same scenario for both sides. In the end, Hopewell was able to score runs on keys hits with 2 outs and runners in scoring positons. Tyler Auten gets the win for Hopewell as he came in to pitch in the 5th, working through the 7th inning, striking out 5. After Hopewell took the lead in the top of the
8th, Johnathan Fisher came in to close, securing the win. Hopewell batters put the bat on the ball throughout the 3-1/2 hour game, with Fisher having the big night, going 4/6 with a HR. Catcher Keith Prowse also went 3/4 with an inside-the-park HR. Blake McGee added a couple of doubles. Rusty White (3/6, 2b) and Harrison Kepley added key hits as well to keep Hopewell in it. Ragsdale parent group were gracious hosts and went above the norm to make our trip to their facility a good one.
