with great weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday... hell of a lot better than what they had in Philly... get out and get a last "fix" of baseball.

Check college websites as some schools are having inter-squad world series (unca for one) going on. Or you could head over to the USA Complex and watch the boys show their stuff at the Impact showcase. There are probably some fall leagues still playing somewhere around the state that have games going this weekend.

There will be plenty of days ahead when the weather will keep you close to the couch wishing for spring to get here!

 

Or......you could travel to Wingate University to watch me coach my inaugural showcase team this weekend at the CC Prospects Showcase.

Please make sure you come up and introduce yourself. I'd love to meet you.

What to do or does it really matter?

That brings up an interesting question. Impact at USA Complex or CC Prospects at Wingate. What’s a guy to do? I do not want anyone to compare them because that’s not a road I or anybody else wants to go down. I just know four kids that were strongly encouraged to attend both. I think they spit. One went one way, one went another, one decided to stay home and the other will be spending his Saturday taking the SAT. What’s a player to do with all the opportunities out there? Freddy works so hard for the guys that he likes/sees at CC Prospects but The Future games are being blown up to be the event of the year and you can’t get into it without being in Cary this weekend. I believe in supporting those that support the sport and both of them do but can they not get together and plan this out a little. I know there’s enough players to fill both events but a few of us would support both if possible. Unfortunately, I’ll be winterizing the house this weekend because my guy is the one taking the SAT.

 

The showcase games continue...

Hit the highway and head south to the Heat Showcase and watch some teams go at it. Lander, Erskine and Presbyterian College might be the place to be with this great weather.

I believe the correct answer lies............. on where you can find me. The players on my team will all be stars because i will let them do what they do best...just play the game and have fun

 

Braves, get Mr. Church on your team. I heard he was attending. Give him a bat and get out of the way. He will take care of the rest!!! Son, he can kill a baseball!

 

It doesn't matter what team he is on...he is on my team. Thanks for the heads up. Adam Church is now my captain...and will ensure all the scouts will be watching MY team.
