    11 innings, school, and 7 innings

    Homer, I think it was an emotional loss, the game went late, who could sleep after that, went to school, spent all day thinking about the last game, showed up for the next game brain drained.:thud: They had not had time to recharge. I think that may be why Davie "rained" out today's game...

    I got there in top of the 3rd and the game went 12 innings. Both pitchers had their "A" games. WF's defense was awesome and it was WF's number 8 & 9 hitters that knocked the 2 runs in the top of the 12th.

    I bet between the 2 pitchers, there were at least 60 strikeouts. It was a great game to watch.

    Game was "RAINED" out

    CoachG,

    The field at Davie was unplayable according to groundskeepers. Their field is at the bottom of a hill and all of the rain runs straight down to the field. The field doesn't drain at all. They wanted to play, otherwise they were facing a four game week next week. Luckily, according to their website www.wareaglepride.com, the game has been moved to April 27.
