West Forsyth moved to 3rd seed

I posted this thread yesterday..don't know what happened to it? West Forsyth was found to have a player with a out of date physical which cost them the CPC Championship & #1 seed in the CPC tournanment. North Davidson moves to #2 & West to #3..I hate it for the West players and I am not sure why it took so long to report. Rumor has it, that it was known for several weeks. Could it be that they looked at their bracket and didn't want to play East Burke & their outstanding pitcher..Hopefully for the players this was not the case..Seems like alot to give up for just one game.

 

That is about the dumbest comment I have ever seen on this board. To suggest that a school would throw away a conference title to get a lower seeding in the state tournament is ridiculous. What satisfaction does that give a school for the hard work their kids put in this season?? I cannot imagine any school willingly giving up their conference title, especially when it's against their hated rival. To even suggest it on this board is sad.

 

This is the reason the other thread was deleted. There is no purpose to inflame the board based on rumors. Also, this was addressed in another thread without the hyperbole.

"I was told West Forsyth discovered one of their player's physicals ran out about a week or 2 ago, so they did the right thing and turned their self in. This led to having to forfeit a couple games which dropped them to the 3 seed."

Coach Pope at West Forsyth is a standup guy. He doesn't deserve to have his name or program pushed through the mud. They found a problem, took care of it and moved on...I suggest we do the same.
