West Forsyth Pitcher Records 1000th Strikeout

    Just read on NCpreps.com that Mendy McKenzie from West Forsyth earned her 1000th strikeout last night while pitching a 12 inning 1-0 victory over n. Davidson.

    :trophy::ylsuper::trophy: That win gives her a 21-0 record for the year.

    I have seen her pitch a few times this year and she certainly is the real deal. She will be a great asset for UNC next year.

    outstanding young lady, excellent pitcher and a pure joy to watch play the game!

    told her last nite we would be watching her play for the Heels but would only be pulling for her and CCox, not unc! :imagestor
