West Johnston High School Softball Clinic

My Name is Kelsey Eddinger and I am a senior at West Johnston High School. I have been a part of the West Johnston High School Varsity Softball Team for all four years of my High School Career. I have also played Travel softball since I was 9 years old. Softball has taught me many lessons throughout my life and has contributed to where I stand as a person today. I have just recently received a softball scholarship to the University of North Carolina Wilmington. With that said I will be having a softball clinic as a part of my Senior Project.

The Clinic will be run by myself as well as other seniors from the West Johnston High School team. There will be players from the “Cape Fear Storm” 18u team to help out as well. The majority of these girls are softball scholarship recipients from major Colleges in and around North Carolina.

This Clinic will focus in the Areas of Pitching, Fielding, Outfield, Hitting, and Base running. There will also be a short session on Conditioning led by El Burnette (West Johnston hitting and conditioning coach).

    When: March 15th, 2008
Where: West Johnston High School Softball Field
    Time: 12&under will be from 9:00-12:00 - 14&under will be from 1:00-4:00
    Ages: 12&under and 14&under
Cost: $15 (Covers t-shirts and West Johnston Softball Game Tickets)
Who: The Clinic will be hosted by:
    • Kelsey Eddinger (University of North Carolina Wilmington)
    • Landon Warren (North Carolina State University)
    • Toni-Ann Williford (North Carolina State University)
    • Jennifer Ladd (University of North Carolina Wilmington)
    • Amanda Davenport (University of North Carolina Wilmington)
    • Jordan Alexander
    • Ashley Fowler (Charleston Southern University)
    • Jessi Jones
    • Katie Kisner (University of North Carolina Wilmington)
    • Wayne Collins (West Johnston High School Coach)
    • Last day to register will be on March 7th, 2008
For registration information and questions please contact Kelsey Eddinger at [email protected]
