    Keri Blackwelder has signed her letter on intent to play for Belmont Abbey. We, at West Stanly, are very happy for Keri. We know she is a quality player and will make a tremendous impact on their program. Belmont abbey is getting a top-notch player. Congratulations, Keri!!!!!!!!!

    Glad she decided to play ball close to home, its always great to see local girls contiune at the next level where WE can contiune to watch them (CVAC is a great fit for our area players). Best wishes for Colts and KB in the playoffs.

    The West Stanly/Mt. Pleasant game was rained out last nite. It will be played today @4:15 @Mount. Good Luck Lady Colts!!!!!!!:D

    Like Old CF says, CVAC is a great fit for our players.
    Its a good place to play competitive ball at the college level.
    With Longwood moving to D1, and so many Charlotte Metro area girls in the conference . Maybe they need to change the name to Charlottes Veryown Athletic Confrence. :D :D

    dawgfan, CVAC has got to change it to something else, unless they can find another D2 Virginia team real soon. But I personally like your new name better and leave VA out of the mix, if we can't have Longwood.......what a good program thats developing real quick and wish them the best in D1. That conference will be a true race in 2004, with Anderson and Coker being the front-runners, dont you think? BAC will be a young talented group, with several local players, as is Pfeiffer, so lets enjoy the other young ones competing now....;) that how a goal of playing collegiate softball! Thanks dawgfan for your insight and the work you and your area do for NC Softball! See you sooooon at other tournament and good luck to your teams this year!!!!

    West Stanly was rained out tonite against North Stanly, game is rescheduled for this Friday @7:00 @ West Stanly.
