    new Tn coach

surprised there's not much comment here.
Is WCU getting to be the cradle of coaches?

I'm also surprised at the lack of comments given that the board seemingly is majority western. I know that based on another site, there are some upset UT fans over this hire. Leggett, and LeClaire both from WCU, so your cradle of coaches comment is apt. I was very impressed with the WCU team at the Chapel Hill Regional. They can swing it with anybody. The coaches did a great job with the pitching staff also.

    wait and see

Yes, I saw the "disappointed" comments also on another site. I guess some fans thought that the big UT should attract a bigger name.
    Good luck to Mr. Raleigh.

Last night I talked to a WCU player's Dad who straight up is thrilled the Raleigh is gone. They were shocked that a school as prominent as UT would want him. The issues were not personal since the Kid is a regular player. Pretty level headed guy too.

There's no question that Kenny was a big part of WCU's success this year, but there were equally talented players behind him(that started at the same position last year) that could've carried the same load given the chance.

I promise you that the vast majority of parents(and players) feel the same way.

I talked to a WCU player today who is pleased that TR has left. Said there was a tremendous load of talent on that team and they would have won with or without TR. The problem the players had with him was that he was totally disrespectful to players and parents. Heres hoping for a worthy replacement.
