the Rage played at the WFC 18u state's today in Raliegh at walnut creek and played well defeating NC Challengers 12-0 and Cape Fear Storm 6-2 in bracket games
Anna and Valerie pitched great from the 43' rubber and Brittany York hit one out and played SS in both games even turning one double play . Nickie Prier caught and had a double and three singles .

    The Creek....

Those kids should put their names on the park and change the name from Walnut Creek to SWR Park. :17:

    Nice job...

Rage finished third at WFC state , Carolina Flames and Cape Fear Storm both beat us today and were playing in the finals . We lost 4-0 to the Flames in the first game , Amanda Davenport pitched a four hitter for them but we hit well , just right at people , at least nobody struck out , there defense was outstanding . The wheels kinda fell off vs. the Storm as they licked us 8-2 , we went up there without our SS,3B,LF,CF but made due pretty well until that game , our catcher got hurt so we brought York back from SS where she had done an excellent job even though she had never played SS ,put our LF on short who had never played there , to make a long story short we tried 5 different people at SS . it was ugly , the only other score I know was Cape Fear Storm 4-2 over BC Crushers with Danielle Glosson pitching for BC in the game before our first one knocking the Crushers out . Congradulations to the Flames and the Storm as they have two fine ball teams .

    priorities

expanding on our downfall today , our SS was in a wedding , Who in there right mind would schedule a wedding during softball season ! that's what January's for , Fastpitchdad let the women run roughshod over him up there in New Hope on this one , put your foot down man . Our 3B had to work , come on now girl's , work mon - thur and if ya just have to work on weekends try third shift , unless we go extra inninigs then lay out , remember money cant buy you a first place trophy , ummmm , maybe it can as I've seen some Blue's I thought were on the take . and the two OF's that went to the beach is the worst , they should make a law that say's no senior trip's until dead periods for college scout's . Dangit people , let's get our Priorities Straight , Travel ball Season is here .

yea, I'm just playing around myself as my DD went to the beach today and my oldest daughter got married two years ago during the NSA State which I missed ( the Tournament , not the wedding )) but the Rage won it anyway . I may not be thinking right though , as it was hot out there the last two day's and I did just get my head shaved last week and everybody was calling me que-tip on saturday morning as the top of my head had never seen the sun before and when I left today they were calling me a pickled beat .I'm thinking about having it painted yellow and getting a couple of red ball seam's tatooed on either side to get them to cut back on the picking a little .
