    The final score was 16-1. Jeremy Helms had the Falcon's number that night, (7IP, 27BF, 1ER, 3H, 7K, 2BB) and West threw 4 pitchers that couldn't miss Piedmont's bats. Dan Brooks was 3-5, 2HR, 3RBI: Jimmy Race, 2-4, 2RBI: Josh Edwards, 2-5, HR, 3RBI: Austin Ring, 3-5, 2RBI: Tyler Greene, 2-3, 2-2B, 3RBI. Nobody expected it but Piedmont and they came to play. It was the hardest game to watch I had ever seen up to then. My son still talks about today everytime his team seems to get on a roll..........it keeps him grounded.
