    this rings true

    I got approached by six parents, not one girl this weekend, parents seem to make the decision to leave, not the girls.

    I remember years ago talking to DAWGSFAN at the ball park one day,and he told me some wisdom that I've never forgoten....He Said," If I Had 10 orphens on a team,I would have the comittment that I needed as a coach"...think about it no parent problems....:agreed:

    Thanks for remembering that But I cannot take the credit. About 20 some years ago I was coaching Little league and was asked by the head of the league to sit in at an arbitration with the parents of a player from another team. It got so bad (even then, go figure) that a LL official had to come to Long Island NY from Williamsburg Pa. to settle the matter. After the meeting we were shooting the bull some and that LL guy said "little league would be perfect if you could just play it in an orphenage". And that rings as true now as it did then.
