What makes the middle infielders the #1 athletes on the field

It doesn't matter..."Goose's Gang" are a flexible bunch of fans. We will move in the stadium no matter what position Goose plays. We are hoping he will become a catcher, so we won't have to move very much.

Your most athletic kids SURE you want them in the middle YET they most possess quick feet and quick hands as well as the SAVVY and 6th sense that goes beyond just an average player in the knowledge and study of the game! Even at the HS levl this is most difficult to find! Your middle infielders should be the smartest players on the field "perhaps" because they have so many responsibilities especially with runners on base! SS must have a quick release as well as above avg arm DOESNt necesarily have to "great" doesn t hurt tho! IMO they must be hard chargers down and dirty and cosnsitent as h****... All of these are very difficult attributes to find in a MINF! From a team perspective they should be the players that bring the rest of the team together as well emotionally! Just my opinion...
