    When I was in college, no matter who we played, our coach always told us we were playing baseball. Kind of takes the big name factor out of the scenario. "Do we play Carolina this week"...."No, we are going to play baseball this week"

    On a lighter note....

    Old High School coach once said this when addressing the team... "I want half of you over there.. half of you over there.. and the rest come with me!" And he was serious....

    Have seen similar things like this over the years,,, funny part is theres always a few who are lost and end up following the coach...

    Best advice I ever got while playing high school baseball:

    The best advice I ever got during my High School baseball career wasfrom my high school coach:

    " Son...... tell your girl friend never to come to practices and ball games!!!"
    I see some players that ought to take this advice.
