What's the right call?

    Watching the #1 Georgia and #2 Alabama game bottom of the 7th runners on 2nd and 3rd with two outs. Full count on the batter next pitch is inside batter swings and misses the hits her catcher misses it shouldn"t that be a dropped thrid strike? Runners should be able to advance?

    I watched some of that game but did not see the 7th innning.

    Are you saying the batter swung at the third strike and the ball hit the batter?

    If the answer is yes, then the ball is dead, the batter is out on strikes and the ball game is over unless it was a tie score.

    The right call was made, batter swung at the 3rd strike and then the ball hits her in the shoulder. Batter is out and the ball is dead.
