    No...don't do that. It doesn't have to be strictly baseball. I need your opinion on American Idol. Do you think Jordin or Blake should have won?

    Pitch Counts

    In major league baseball I know with Dice-K coming to the US the focus has once again been put back on pitch counts. I found an interesting stat that the formula used to determine the pitchers who threw the most or in essence the pitcher who should have the most arm trouble due to pitches thrown was Livan Hernandez I believe, and it was ironic considering that he had spent no major time on the DL in that period. Sure pitch counts make a difference and people definately put themselves at risk when throwing a lot of pitches, but you also don't have a healthy arm without keeping it in shape, and the only way to do that is to throw.
