    I remember my first one from 1972. And i still have it.

    Not High School, but we had one on our little league team in 1970(I was 11). This was in Pennsylvania. The bat was silvery aluminum, no markings, no paint. I remember thinking "where is the trademake so I can hold it the right way?"
