    After this weeklong layoff for high school baseball teams, nearly everyone is in the same boat (poor choice of words) with only indoor practice time.

    Nevertheless, how do you think this layoff will affect certain teams? Will the hot teams remain hot, can a struggling team make a turnaround? How will "ALL THESE MAKEUPS" affect your team's pitching?

    Everyone's pitching depth is about to be tested in the coming weeks. Post your comments about your specific teams...

    Not specific about any individual team ... but with everyone having to play 3 games per week, the teams with the deepest pitching staffs will have an advantage. Everyone will need 3 quality starts per week and hopefully have a couple of good arms in the pen, "just in case".
