    From another thread...

The rulebook is not available online. The Federation deems it more important to make money off the rules rather than promote knowledge of the game. Imagine how the game would be affected if players (and fans) had free access to the rules! Someone certainly deserves "The World's Dumbest Administrator" award! :computer:

You can usually find a rulebook at sporting goods stores. The baseball rulebook is available for purchase online at the nfhs website, but softball is not available for download.

I think betterbatter's point was more along the lines of having to payfor the rulebook. I can find the ASA rulebook online free of charge. I can find the NCAA rulebook online free of charge. Why should fans, coaches and parents have to pay for the HS rulebook? I did each year I kept stats, but IT IS ridiculous. If we download it and print it on our own paper, why would there be a charge. Furthermore, the game could only be improved by people being more knowledgeable about the game and the rules as they pertain to high school ball.

I downloaded the app this afternoon on my iPod Touch. Awesome! Now I can look up whatever rule I want and have case examples to go with it. And by this time next week I would have blown the six bucks at a Mickey Dees anyway.

    PS: Really great user interface!
