We are fielding a 16u team again this year. We feel like we will have a competative team. Our team was scheduled to play in Concord this weekend, but had to drop out because they didn't have enough teams. However our two 14 under teams are playing. The Comets Purple playing NSA in Thomasville, and the other 14u team playing AAU in Concord.

I agree that the Pride is not the Lightning. We are a group of players that comes from many different schools and organizations. We have players from Mauldin, TL Hannah, Crest, Kings Mountain, A.C. Reynolds, Roberson, Brevard, and many other schools.

To be honest I thought you were just giving everybody a heads up not to be looking for the lightning team in the 16's since they folded under that name. Yes, a few of those players moved to the pride but half the team came from other areas as well. I hate that players were left without a team to play on. Same has happened here in this area as well and players are scrambling for last opens spots on existing teams.

Look for the Randolph Rage and the Carolina Cardinals to field pretty good teams this year also.

    Denver Dazzle Organization

The Dazzle Blue is a very strong team and always has been. also the new Gold team is strong. Actually the Dazzle Blue just won the Spring State tournament that Robin & the AAU gang put on and there were some pretty good teams there they had to beat. I heard the Dazzle Blue only allowed 1 run to score against them all weekend.

Of course the Curve Team is gonna be a team to beat and Hannah Stutts with the Craze & Leslie Hensley with the Lady Blues are both awesome pitchers not to mention great bats. also lady lightnings 14U & the Cobras 14's will make an impact this year.

Last year there was so much talent in the 14's and now alot of that has worked its way into the 16's it will be fun to watch.

I look forward to watching them & thought i'd throw in a word or 2 about some of my favorites. :satana:[IMG]

You never know about that DD Blue, with that rent a roster plan that they play with. You never know who they might have from one week to the next.
I agree with your other picks, all solid teams.Should be interesting season.

    my opinion

Ole FP Scout, you asked for an opinion and I gave you one. I know everytime they (Dazzle Blue) hit the field they are legal, Well Coached, and one of the teams to beat so I say again no matter who plays for who they are there. Also give me a Strong team that doesn't have a need for players at different times. Last year it seemed everytime I turned around I was looking for someone. Again just some of my picks (opinions)....
