Who Else Has A Lot of Returners Coming Back For The 2010 Season?

    kings mountain lost only 2 seniors this year
    They will have returning all con.
    megan hoyle Jr. 1st base
    Hayley hoyle Jr. Catcher
    Taylor Faris So. ShortStop

    I cant call players starters because the coach couldnt make up his mind who is best 9 were, so pretty much everyone saw playing time at one point...

    they have two pitchers shea cogdell(fr) and lea zwick (so)

    also they have
    tori glass (so) 3rd
    emily gates (so) 3rd/2nd
    Cailyn Hughes (so) outfield
    Caroline Chambers (so)
    Cailtlyn Braunns (fr) outfield
    Blair Haynes (jr)
    Jessica Burton (so)

    Also they have 8 freshman coming up..

    Lake Norman only lost 1 starter. Moving into 4A next year with most of the team intact and some good freshmen coming up.

    Conference next year

    How is the Conference going to break down next year?
    Who is going 4A or staying 3A and moving around to other conferences. The Landscape is going to be different everywhere.

    Concord High School had no seniors this year so everyone from the 2009 season will be returning.

    W. Johnston had 3 sr's but none really contributed to any degree.

    Sorry you asked this earlier....... I meant to get back to it. Here goes.... 10 team league goes to 7 next year as Mooresville, Lake Norman and NW cabbarus all move to 4A and out of the NPC. I hate to lose them because I love competeing with those guys and we had some great games this year, with them , but on the other hand it opens up some non conference opportunities for North Iredell that haven't really been there with a conference so big. And a 10 team league you better bring your A game every night because every game counts.

    I understand what you meant but in case any of those 3 seniors read this they did contribute significantly. One is a slapper with a lot of speed that made a difference in several games; one had a game-winning rbi against one of the strongest teams they played; one provided very valuable senior leadership to a very young team.

    West made it to the 3rd round and they will definitely be much stronger if everyone returns and they get the kids that are rumored to be able to make a big difference.

    Lexi Betancourt was the primary strength this year. With a year's experience by this year's freshmen (4 of them) next year should make for a much stronger team.

    Returning Players

    Starmount High School will return all but one player. Jana Matthews was the lone senior on this team. The Rams should be a strong contender for next year.

    Well if Sheas pitching....... Then I want no part of KM. :grin::grin: I've heard shes what the kids call "a beast". Hope the knee is feeling better. :wavey:
